The Work of Byron Katie for Work, Business and Leadership
Posted April 4, 2012
Date: May 25/26, 2012
Venue: Alumni House, University of Edmonton, Alberta
About: What is holding you back from bringing your best self to your professional work?
No matter who you are or what work you do in life your ability to step fully into that work in the world can be strongly affected by your own thinking. The Work of Byron Katie is a simple and powerful process for skillfully working with your own thinking and limiting beliefs where you are stuck or stressed. As a practice, it allows your mind to return to its creative, wise and peaceful nature. In professional life, the Work can support you to: step into leadership/action with courage & authenticity; re-connect to passion/meaning in your work; engage with change with more flexibility and less stress; resolve conflict with understanding & learning; communicate more clearly and honestly.
Process: In two full days of learning and practice you will have the opportunity to learn The Work (if you are new to it) or deepen your practice in the context of professional life (if you have experience already.) There will be ample time to practice facilitation and apply The Work to your own work challenges. Facilitated by Caitlin Frost, a Certified Facilitator of The Work; a trainer in the Institute for The Work, and a leadership coach and facilitator.
Cost: Before April 25th $465.00 + GST (includes lunches) | After April 25th $525.00 + GST (lunches included)
